A Little About Me:
We are Robert & Sandy Waters, two exhausted parents of a wild three year old boy named Evan and a eight year old girl named Candace who has autism. Here is a little background info. on us; we live in the Chicagoland area and my wife is seeking her Masters degree and is a singer/songwriter. My husband has his real estate license and is also a singer/songwriter. Together we wrote a song for our daughter titled "Faith, Love & Hope".
Why I am a Part of the AutismOne Community:
I am part of the AutismOne community in order to meet and support other parents who have a child with autism.
What I am Here For:
I am here for support and to meet other parents who have a child with autism.
Autism Help / Accomplishments:
Radio Show Host's of "The Candy Store", writers of the song "Faith, Love & Hope" for our daughter Candace and trying to pass a law to help chlidren and young adults with autism.
My Daily Motivations:
My Children, Music, Art and Fun.

To spread autism awareness and to let everyone know that people with autism are talented, productive and should be valued members of society!!!

I am new here but have 3 on the spectrum, I have 5 total ages 22,17,10,5,4 the younger three are the ones on the spectrum. According to new diagnostic criteria the older 2 could be as well but they function highly. (just a bit socially odd )
Always looking for others who are' there doing that 'so to speak.
We are a large close family that happens to have a few challenges but looks like we all do here.
